Chums is a brilliant company to work, and it will go down as of the best jobs I ever had. Understandably, you're taking orders or resolving orders after they've been placed, which for some can seem monotonous HOWEVER I believe its what you do on that call. All work has the ability to be boring, however you can either choose to engage with the customer on a authentic level and have great rapport and conversation. I think what makes Chums amazing is the people that you work with; you will meet an office full of people that will make you feel welcome. Family culture is office often gets a bad reputation, but this is where family culture is amazing; where you are seen, heard and celebrated. In my time here, my managers fostered and cultivated something within me that I could see in myself. I was able to stop self sabotaging and finally be willing to take risks in other areas of my life. I was able to see that I could exceed, make great sales and become a fantastic salesman - which I am taking into other roles. I was paid well considering what I was doing - I mean OVERTIME paid at time and half is something outdated, but it's nice to see that a company still believes rewarding hard work. My life has changed drastically since I walked through the CHUMS door, and I have my team managers and the team I had. Anyone who says otherwise, most of than not, is an energy vampire. We live in a world where we have to work, so why not come to work and inspire hope, joy, light and positivity with fellow team members. Maybe that way you can cultivate something greater, grander and wonderful out of yourself. Life has changed, but I will always have love for my feeders bay, managers and my ops.
