No real room for advancement in most departments. CEO is part of the venture capital group that bought the company. Conflict of interest? Venture capital group is known to flip companies after a few years, pump and dump. Most employees are aware of this and are waiting for it to happen. Management does not listen or care about most things that are brought up by employees. There is no real employee morale, no tuition reimbursement, no real benefits aside from the standard stuff. Company is not really transparent on things, constant unexpected lay offs where more work is thrown at someone to compensate or they outsource to Europe for cheaper labor. No raises, bonuses, or even cost of living raise. No events for employees, HR has basically been outsourced. Tried to sell sports division and used it as a reason for no raises. Division never got sold and instead that team was laid off. I would recommend staying here a year, gaining some experience, and jumping ship. The company is all about saving money right now. Most direct managers have their hands tied when it comes to many things.
