Pros

- Truly a fully remote company - Competitive pay - International meetup every 6 months or so - Minimum recurring meetings - Flexible hours

Cons

- Tight deadlines typical of startups - Almost no HR or DEI - The expectations of the roles hired for can drastically change after starting due to management not understanding what they actually need. Be sure to align on expectations with management before accepting any job. - During the interview process, Management claimed that very low turnover, but noticed immediately after starting that they let go of a couple of people per month on average. - Claim an A-sync work culture, where no one expects responses right away, but this depends on who you work with.

Pros

- Somewhat knowledgeable staff - Good looking product

Cons

- Erratic business strategy that seems to change without logical foundations - Management has a tendency to ostracise people who do not believe in the things they believe. Specially when it comes to self-identifying - Bullying from management is on the table

Pros

I love what we’re building at Circle. The product really helps bring people together in meaningful ways, and that makes the work feel really impactful. The team members are kind, talented, and supportive. There’s a strong culture of trust and flexibility. I appreciate the focus on remote work and asynchronous communication. Offsites and team meetings help foster real connection and are lots of fun. I’ve grown a lot here — professionally and personally — and feel like there’s room to keep evolving.

Cons

Sometimes it feels like we’re moving so fast that there’s not enough time to pause and talk out all the details together. As someone who’s neurodivergent, I often need to process things out loud or talk through context. That style doesn’t always fit easily into the way or the speed we work, even though many team members are neurodivergent too. I’ve had to advocate for the kind of support that helps me do my best work (and the team has been very receptive!)
