Pros

- Fellow employees are fun to work with - The work itself varies a lot, you get plenty of variety - You get to learn a lot about networking, windows server, and Dell hardware.

Cons

- Management puts it all on the employees to work 8 hours of "billable hours" a day, even though there is rarely enough tickets in the system to fulfill this requirement. - The definition of "billable hours" is completely skewed, all clients are under maintenance contracts so they aren't billed hourly except on projects. - The "bootcamp" that prospective engineers must complete is purposely vague and confusing. Management puts incorrect information in the instructions to confuse new hires, scrutinizes your performance at every turn and calls it a failure based on their "current interpretation" of the flawed directions. They look for every opportunity to trip you up and fail you. - They claim to give out bonuses yet the employees will never see that money. All of the bonus money goes towards paying for the CEO's "company vehicle", a Porsche. - All engineers are required to participate in the on-call rotation, even though it says nothing about it in the job description or offer of employment letter. They spring it on you after the fact. - They avoid offering training opportunities. It's managements opinion that training doesn't benefit the company enough so it's all on the employees to obtain more training. - Salary is well below the average for employees with the same position, half of market value. - The conditions to obtain a raise are incredibly difficult to meet and are contingent on there being enough tickets in the system. There is almost never enough tickets to fulfill the 8 hours requirement. - Management is incredibly cheap, frequently nickel and dimes clients. Everything decision is based on management's profit motive. - There is no documentation at all which details how to complete work tasks. You have to ask your coworkers any time you have questions even though they are likely busy. - The attitude of management towards employees all but guarantees that they become disgruntled very quickly.

Thank you for submitting your feedback. Like any other service organizations, tracking productivity for each employee is critical to the overall success of the company. At Circulent, this is no different, with much responsibility on itself to ensure engineers have enough work. At the same time all engineers need to be proactive and diligent to find and solve problems not visible to the naked eye. Since Circulent’s inception in 2003, our Boot Camp has evolved, changing as technology itself evolves. Its goal is to not only gauge the technical competency of each new engineer, but also to gauge soft skills as well (i.e. communication, customer service, self-education, etc.). Lastly, Circulent has and will continue to compensate employees fairly, and when appropriate, offer bonuses or salary increases when performance expectations are met or exceeded. Should you have any other feedback, please send them to feedback@circulent.com.

Pros

You'll learn a lot about how to deal with difficult people

Cons

Management manipulates its employees. The other positive reviews were done by him because the truth is on here, he's just going to make a bunch of positive reviews

Thank you for sending your feedback. As a technology organization, it is second nature for all our employees to continuously self-educate. This applies from the CEO of the company to the newest employee. Those who embrace this approach, execute, demonstrate accountability, meet their KPI’s and act as a team player will always be fairly compensated. Should you have any other feedback that will help us improve as a growing company, please send it to feedback@circulent.com.

Pros

Lots of experience Learn to deal with difficult people

Cons

Owner is sick and not healthwise salary so low you would make more on a part time job, benefits are junk. you will be smited for mistakes, and you will be forced to work late, "or else" don't bother telling management you have financial issues, they WILL use this against you, and again, make you work harder "or else" Advice to others currently working: get another job, then tell them NO to one of their ridiculous requests, watch them stir, then call you into a meeting. then give them notice when you get there. there are literally prisons that will treat you better.
