Poor communication from leadership to rank and file employees. Middle management doesn’t always have the backs of their employees.
Yearly reviews are not taken seriously. Goals and expectations are not clearly set.
There is a great level of autonomy and a lack of coding standards which leads to code based that have duplicated and redundant code, dead code that should have been removed during a decommission, etc.
Due to the focus on growth many pipelines are still manual and automating them is not a roadmap priority.
