Pros
Great pay, government benefits, and amicable co-workers
Cons
Unreliable, poor work-life balance, untrustworthy, understaffed, shoddy management, high-expectations. Employees are expected and encouraged to take on roles outside of their outlined scope and work longer hours due to lack of staffing. Management convinced me not to take a job elsewhere, to move away, and put down a year's lease only for them to tell me I should resign before my first 30 days.

It's a government job, so it gives you a sense of security.
Cons
Corruption, Corruption, Corruption. Don't trust HR, Don't Trust Management, don't trust the boards. The worst place I have ever worked.
