Pros
- Lovely offices, particularly Manchester, which is very modern and professional. - Dedicated and knowledgeable staff. The staff at Clancy are extremely dedicated and intelligent professionals. - Fantastic ESG causes. Clancy focus a lot of their time towards meaning charitable causes.
Cons
Pay - The pay at Clancy is poor, staff are not rewarded fairly for their previous experience. Pay is definitely based on age rather than the skills you bring. If you’re a university graduate, good luck getting above £25k. The disparity in wages is shocking. Micromanagement - Specific senior individuals within Clancy are micromanagers who crave control at every opportunity. Lack of understanding in Neurodivergence - The business does not understand how to support neurodivergent employee’s and instead, make it a very uncomfortable place to work through not taking the time to truly understand neurological needs. Hierarchy - Like most businesses, Clancy operates a hierarchical structure, but in a such a way that it devalues employees. Every day feels like a ‘us vs them’ attitude.
