Unethical Practices of HR

Pros

The team I worked with was good but this is not about my team , it’s about the HR

Cons

I joined Clario last year mid - the designation which I joined in was something which I found online and applied. Later when I was working in Clario - an HR ( who still works with Clario ) asked to tell my hiring HR that he has referred me for the role in which I am working - which was not true ! He referred me for another role. But he requested me to tell my hiring HR (a lady ) that he was the one to refer me for this position. So that he can get the referral bonus. Out of courtesy I did the same . He got the bonus. This whole incident was unethical. I would request Clario management to look after this issue or investigate the same. During my notice period, purposefully no meeting was done in my presence , along with the HR team member and my ex manager which usually happens as exit formality in all the big organisations. I was leaving the organisation for an emergency and I was asked to pay a huge amount as I was leaving early , I believe which could have been negotiated in the same call which never happened purposefully. I paid the amount and left the organisation. I would also request the management to monitor why proper exit formalities aren't followed.

Clario Makes Me Sick

Pros

I'd say remote work, but the true agenda behind that "gift" didn't take long to come out.

Cons

If you live in the United States or EU, do not bother applying for a job at Clario. You may get hired and you may even like it for awhile, but the executives' main goal is to get all positions over to India, Costa Rica and China for super cheap labor. And they'll claim that it's about diversity or time zones, but I'm sure if these people had to be paid as much as you or I, none of this would be happening. But, don't worry. Clario is there (briefly) to help you "transition"! Yes, didn't you know that the unjustified loss of your job is due to a transitional period in your life and not because you are being tossed aside like yesterday's garbage so the CEO, already with millions in the bank, can have your measly $40 grand, too? Now, you may think that going above and beyond might spare you from going on the chopping block, but guess again. Management will actually forbid you from taking on more work, even when your offer would solve an ongoing issue. Mostly because the unqualified, cheaper labor in India can't match up and it makes it harder for Clario to label your presence as unnecessary, thus justifying your eventual lay off. So, if you're American or reside in the EU, don't bother. However, if you're willing to work for $3 an hour, check out their website!

Pros

I worked for this company for 10+ years under its various names, It was a great place to work when I started and I learned a lot of new technologies. They have a good PTO policy. Work-life balance has been excellent for the past 7 or so years.

Cons

Worst healthcare and 401k benefits I've had in 40 years. Recent mergers and divisional sell-off have cost many jobs though severance pay has been good. Remainder of company is laying off US workers in favor of cheap foreign labor even though they are experiencing record profit margins. Morale is at an all-time low. Current top level management are lackies for the PE company who owns them and have no desire to stand up for or protect their employees. I gave them 5 stars for DEI because that's primarily what management has been focused on since the most recent merger - to the hurt of everything else. But at least they can puff out their chests and say "look how diverse we are".... all the way to the unemployment line.
