Pros

- Some talented people on the team to have a good conversation with - The office is downtown and well located - There is a sense of camaraderie among the employees (not management) and they help one another face the stress of the day.

Cons

- Agile is just a word to make you work more and increase your responsibilities - You will be asked to work on sick leave, on vacation. - Insane pressure to deliver marketing and business goals yesterday. - No room for improving and growing as a software engineer - Many of the promised perks are actually not quite as advertised, you will have drinks as long as you only drink Club Mate. Fruits once a month. - Most of the people leave before they reach their first year - 99% of the decisions are driven unilaterally by the CTO.

Pros

- Great bunch of friendly and smart people;

Cons

- Noisy office environment; the company doesn't spend much on improving tables/chairs/monitors; - Hard to grow as a software engineer – decision making is driven mostly by CTO or you have to really fight for it; - Feeling uncomfortable every time when you ask about working from home because of your or your child's sickness; - Management treats you as an irresponsible employee; - You can get your salary increase only when you say about leaving. Your hard work and overtime don't count.

Corporate environment with startup structure

Pros

Great, modern office and awesome colleagues. There is a good feeling of "comradery".

Cons

It feels like we work on a big corporate company rather than a startup, and not in a good way. Management cares more about the numbers rather than the people. There is a big pressure to "perform", but at the same time there are no resources, training or benefits offered to help us perform better. Some teams are still very unstructured, with no processes, as if we were still at the first years of the company. As a result, everyone is overworked, stressed and work is never finished. Many employees are getting fired on a weekly basis, with no explanation or notice: one moment we are working together juts fine, the next they have a meeting with HR and they pack up their things and leave. Employees do not feel safe anymore, since they feel that every single mistake can get them fired. Normally, HR would be the department that employees would trust and go to when they need something. However, currently HR is the last team we trust, given their lack of communication, transparency and understanding. There are a lot of promises coming from their management, but no real results over the last year. Even when there was no real HR structure a year ago, the team was more trusted.
