Pros

Some of the people you work with are good people if they stay around long enough.

Cons

No home life. Your bonus are based on gross profit but they make deals with the insurance company to get the work in the shop that directly effect GP. They also changed the pay plan and bonus. The changes are better for the company but I took a pay cut at no fault of my own. They borrow safety equipment from their other local shops to pass certifications to work on certain electric vehicles. General management stays about 3-5 months upper management doesn't know what they are doing thats why their California shops are closing. Maybe if they listen to their employees and stop going to lunch 4 hous a day.... they only hear you when your about to leave. Health insurance cost me 1400 a month for a family basically zero benefits. Like PTO? You'll get none. This is a buy and sell company don't work for them if you like your sanity or want job stability...zero training from anyone that knows what they are doing. It's a fake it till you make it management style.

Pros

Since Classic bought the body shop I worked for, everything is worse.

Cons

I am comparing Classic to the shop I was working for before they bought it. Scheduling is off. Always waiting on parts. There is either no work, or so much that you can hardly keep up. Since body work is commission-based, there is no overtime. You must be at the shop from 8-5, even when there is no work. The benefits aren't worth what they cost. I have fewer paid holidays and PTO days,

Pros

No pros for this company.

Cons

Very non professional. Management and employees are always throwing out profanity while customers are hearing this. Very unfair to certain employees, lie to certain employees. The whole shop needs to be replaced by a new staff. Raises aren't consistent. No training , you have to train yourself.
