no travel, didn't have to take the work home with you. You punched out and didn't think about work at night.
Cons
Sat in a cube and spoke with unqualified leads for 95% of the day. Daily call reviews with owner of company who wanted you to sell buildings to people who could not afford them. Sell a non-engineered building to someone that couldn't use it just to make a fast buck. Warranty is total trash and non-existent. Told to promise deadlines that we were unable to achieve in order to make sale. Company printed wrong pricing in catalog to increase call volume. Commission paid 20 days after completion of project; or whenever they feel like it. Told to get off the phone before 10 minutes if customer is unqualified. Other employees are great to work with and very helpful. Very high turn over rate, someone seems to quit every 3 weeks. Was unable to get benefits for the first 90 days (after trial eval period was over). Commissions are capped; typically the commission structure is changed with no input from the sales force at all. Converted a conference room into more work space by sticking 14 cubicles into the space. Interior of building is rundown with duct tape on the carpeting and dust all over the HVAC. Cannot have your cell phone out on your desk or make personal phone calls during the day. If you have no job and need one desperately this can be the place for you. Don't leave your current job for this opportunity.
