Bootlicking is the standard starting from all the senior managers who do everything to hold on to their jobs especially those who wouldn't find any jobs at similar levels elsewhere. Some senior managers are not doing anything productive and just relying on those reporting to them to get any results. Bureaucracy and cronyism are the norm. So if you are after some experience until you find the right job that suits your skills, then this is the place for you. Pay will be very basic and depend very much on your ability to just agree with any stupid ideas that senior management decides to enforce. Until they get the next one.

Some nice coworkers. Free snacks and breakfast. Staff days out. Flexible start times.

Cons

Some truly awful people working in management. A horrible office building. Favouritism and untouchable staff members. Low pay. Total resistance to remote working.
