Questionable Leadership

Pros

Some good people. That's honestly the only reason anyone stays as long as they do.

Cons

Where do I even start. The CEO is NEVER there. Literally never in the office. And when he does show up nothing is different so honestly what is the point. Nobody looks out for you. You are on your own from day one. Work hard, do the right thing, doesn't matter. Rewards feel completely random. Can't even get expenses approved without chasing for weeks by the way. Little things like that just add up. And the favouritism is just exhausting. Some people are UNTOUCHABLE, everyone knows it, nobody says it out loud. The place runs on who you know not what you do. Good people have been walking out and I don't blame a single one of them. Oh and the CEO still has his job so. Yeah. JUST RUN.

Pros

Nice and elegant office. Everyone needs to dress well to office.

Cons

The role requires substantive HR leadership and operational mastery. Unfortunately, what is currently demonstrated seems to be more “presentation” than capability.

Run away from this place

Pros

Some nice people, but all in self-preservation mode.

Cons

This was by far the worst job I have ever had. The toxic culture is established by the chairman, who rules by his whims and never misses an opportunity to scold or publicly humiliate staff for petty things like using the wrong fonts or colours in an email. This is mirrored by his obsequious and grossly under-qualified president (listed here as CEO). You felt that you could be fired any day. As one senior staff member told me “We are all on death row here, some just have more time.” You are expected to work during leave, and there is zero empathy for family circumstances. When you join, no one tells you that you have to go through a ridiculous cult-like induction process that could end in you losing your job. Run away from this place. They will promise you the reviews here are outdated or because of bad apples — but don’t believe it. It is simply awful. Work here only if you enjoy constant anxiety and insecurity.
