Pros
Benefits are spectacular, and working for an NFL football team is obviously fun. You meet players and coaches, get tickets. All of that. Meals are free in the team cafeteria too.
Cons
Low pay for entry and mid-level employees (because everyone wants to work for a football team) is only the beginning. Executives are exactly what you'd expect from a professional football team: mostly egotistical, alpha males driven by favoritism and nepotism. If you're a tough guy, upper management will like you. If you're a woman, you'll fit in because these types of men love any chance to flirt with a woman. If you're a guy that's anything less than a former athlete with a giant ego or a prep school background, you're probably out of luck, at least in terms of upper management. Every stereotypical Mad Men-esque behavior you can envision I witnessed during my time with the Browns. And, as with any organization where testosterone is the standard, egos regularly clash and turnover is frequent.
