Pros

workers on the phones are awesome.

Cons

No Communication. Upper Management are liars. (they say one thing now, but when asked the same question later, they didn't say that or mean another). Low Pay. IT Dept team is incompetent ( how do you ask a blind person that takes the PARTA to bring their desktop to work, not laptop, DESKTOP). Insufficient Training and get scolded for incorrect answers. Must record all conversations with co-workers due to miscommunication or liars in upper management. Just plain terrible place to work for. Don't know what calls you are taking but expect to know.

We are disappointed to hear that your experience at CSC was less than ideal from your point of view.

Pros

Great atmosphere outside the call center, inside, the manager stalks you at your seat in an attempt to ask to speak with you. Very creepy. PTO can be plentiful, depending on status.

Cons

The pay is EXTREMELY LOW, regardless of how hard you work as a CSR. Bonuses are few AND TINY. You also have to jump through hoops for them. Annual raises are 2% of your hourly wage, which is already EXTREMELY LOW, if they decide to give you one at all.

Thank you for your feedback. We value the hard work and dedication of all of our team members, including our Customer Service Representatives. It is amazing to witness the effort put forth each day in carrying out our mission. Professional and effective communication are critical to carrying out that mission and that is the ideal we hold for everyone that works here. We encourage all staff members to share feedback with her or his supervisor or someone from the HR team so we can continue to grow and ensure this is a great place to work. In addition, we regularly monitor pay rates and compensation plans (including benefits) to ensure the wages we offer are competitive in the local market.

We are disappointed to read this review and hear that this was your experience of Cleveland Sight Center. CSC’s mission "to empower people with vision loss to realize their full potential and to shape the community’s vision of that potential” is what drives our staff forward each and every day.
