Pros

Click is a great place to work. There's a great work/life balance, things can get very busy and several deadlines can come at once, but management are flexible and give back during quieter times and allow you to flex hours or work from home as and when suits. There are lots of opportunities for career progression and many people are promoted from within the organisation as opposed to external candidates.

Cons

Click is a fast growing company, as such, change is inevitable, if you can't cope with change, it's probably not for you!

Great people with ambition but flexible/home working shouldn’t be justification for lower salaries

Caring, ambitious team members and supportive culture Lots of remote workers mean productivity is high and workflow efficient Learning and development is encouraged/supported

Cons

High workload and low salary with no reasonable rises. Poor benefits package compared to others in tech sector. Lots of people leaving

A great company, but will it still be?

Culture is great, the department is full of like minded people who all want to achieve the same goal. Remote work flexibility is great. The product is great, some truly innovative stuff made in house other companies would kill for. Ownership without blame culture, no strict deadlines. Crunches never happen. No expectations for out of hours, ever.

Cons

Salaries were poor before, have continued to be poor, being remote friendly is no longer an excuse. Stagnated for two years, no equity and have now been bought out by a company who's employees do have equity. Two tier system. Huge brain drain as seniors leave the business in droves for the pay they deserve, putting on others to step up with not one bit of consideration to those who have so far stuck around. More will leave, especially with the merger. Benefits? Basically nill potentially cheaper hotels and train tickets. Poor pension. No investment in training or certifications. Free beer on a Friday, if you're in the office. No support for hole office set up. You want an extra monitor at home? You're buying it.
