Working at Cloudmate taught me to take full responsibility and ownership of every task and decision I make. I had the opportunity to collaborate directly with the CEO on requirements gathering and project planning, which was a great learning experience. The CEO encourages you to think from a 360-degree perspective, ensuring that no edge cases are overlooked. This pushes you to think like an engineer who designs complete systems, rather than just a developer writing code. One of the best aspects of working here is the level of ownership given to you — you are trusted to design and build systems that are robust, scalable, and capable of exceeding client expectations. The management team is supportive and approachable.
Cons
The workload can increase significantly during critical deadlines, which can sometimes make the work pace intense. However, it also provides opportunities to learn how to manage pressure and deliver high-quality systems.
