Pros

Product has a ton of potential. The office is nice. The head of sales has the employees best interest. And I truly believe management wants the best for their employees.

Cons

The culture at cludo is something I have never experienced before and it is just BAD. The people are not welcoming like they seem to think they are. Everyone is entitled. Departments do not get along. Communication and sharing your input is not recommended. Management knows what they want and they do not want help achieving that.. like they seem to think. Management does a great job at making Cludo seem like the best place to work and this could not be more off. I dont think a single person is happy and not looking for a different job. Also the office is just QUIET. You could hear a pin drop 50 feet away. And sales is the largest department. Everyone hides away in rooms so they don't get criticized for doing their job. The on boarding training is average at best and they do not take feedback well. Yes, they have happy hours and events but the entire experience is like a highschool gathering. Fake and everyone is drinking heavily to avoid conversation. At the end of the day everyone is out for themselves.

The feedback you shared is being taken seriously in regards to our people not being welcoming. We believe that every employee has an opportunity to impact our culture is a positive way and request employees who face challenges to come to me, People Experience or their direct supervisor with feedback and/or improvements. I’m proud to share our employees started a handful of office initiatives, including an inclusive fitness group over the lunch hour in the U.S., playing music throughout the day for those that don’t wear their air pods and an upcoming teamwork scavenger hunt event through Cludo Cares. In addition, we recently moved our teams to sit closer together for more collaboration across departments. As you mentioned, the management team wants the best for their employees and we will continue to do just that! -Philip

Had potential, but not a great time to be here.

Pros

People are great, good location, good restaurants near, sales leader has a personable approach to management and looks out for his team members. The product is high quality.

Cons

Identifies as a startup but lacks startup energy, trajectory, and has a rigid corporate structure. Quiet and boring office environment. Any attempts at creating culture events for employees were turned down by CEO. Verticals didn't see value in product. Nobody trusts the CEO. CEO is trigger-happy with people's employment.

Thank you for the candid feedback, and I am sorry you didn’t have a good experience. In the past year, we hosted a variety of culture events, one was the Global Meetup where we flew the whole US team to Copenhagen, Denmark for a week. Every Friday we have happy hour at the office where we try and celebrate all the victories we accomplished in the last week. We do our best to celebrate their victories, but I apologize if you felt something or someone was neglected. We encourage an open door approach where people provide their candid feedback. We are not perfect, and if you have any further feedback on how we can improve I encourage you to reach out directly to me - Philip

Pros

Cludo has a ton of potential. The product itself is solid and the CEO takes care of all employees. The sales manager has the team's best interests in mind and cares about the well being of his team. The company is suffering from some growing pains, but the issues are not uncommon among young startups. Weekly happy hours/frequent parties and Thursday donuts as well.

Cons

The culture at Cludo is appalling. There is no cohesion between teams and it seems like every department is looking out for themselves and their own metrics. There is an air of arrogance, entitlement and lethargy among employees who do the bare minimum to get by on a daily basis. Conversations are superficial and despite the size of the company, it is extremely cliquey. It is reminiscent of high school. The office is devoid of any energy- it sucks the life out of your soul.

Thank you for sharing your feedback on working with Cludo. This past year, we launched Cludo Cares to promote a sense of community by enhancing our in office experiences, team bonding and community outreach. In addition, we moved our Minneapolis teams to sit closer together for group collaboration. The move has been a welcome experience and encourages comradery. Cludo hired a Vice President of Sales last year who brings a positive influence on our company culture and overall sales strategy. To clarify, we never hired a Sales Manager. Again, we appreciate your comments as our employees work better together to achieve our company mission. -Philip
