Pros
Very good reputation in Chicago. Benefits are great (healthcare, dental, etc). Small perks like early leave on Fridays in the Summer (if you can swing that with your work load). Fun events outside of work, fun events inside the company lunch room (pizza day, St. Patrick's day, etc..)
Cons
It is manager dependent that could make or break your experience at Clune. Some managers might be easier to work with then others. Some teams I noticed come in early and stay later then others. Work hours are a 7:30 start (not unusual in Construction)... but what is unusual is that in Construction when you start early, you typically leave early. Just be prepared to put in a lot of hours in the job. Not a bad thing if you like that, but when they say a 7:30a.m. start, they take that very seriously. Project Managers who have been there awhile still do entry level/administrative job tasks such as logging submittals, pay applications, etc. which weighs down work load and keeps them from getting to the real problems that occur on the job. It also extends work hours out for doing something an administrative assistant, or younger project manager should take on. Senior level Project Managers should not be doing time consuming administrative tasks but should be freed up to take care of larger issues, or take on more complex projects.
