      Giving it 2 stars because of the great colleagues!!!

      Pros

      - Great colleagues (not all of them of course) - Just a couple of Senior managers are ok

      Cons

      - Sometimes you are expected to work until you finish a task, even though you have worked more than 10 hours that day. - Some people get promoted just because they have friends in high places. - Some people work really hard and nobody sees them and some people do not work at all and again, nobody sees them ... still the ones that work well and hard get passed for promotions and the ones that do not work at all or just do bad work, those are the ones that get promoted. - Salary is below what bigger CROs pay. - Company can go 2-3 years without promoting anybody or giving any pay raise just because they do not want to spend money on their employees, don't want to motivate them in any way, they just want you to work until you can't anymore. - As a CRO, they avoid hiring new people and just give more and more work to the existing employees.

      Chaotic is the best word to describe it

      Pros

      Most of the colleagues are nice and willing to help and to provide a shoulder to cry on when you are in need. Good place to start from scratch and gain some experience in the industry and get a job at a larger, better paying CRO.

      Cons

      The company is trying to get as many clients and studies as possible and are willing to do almost anything to hold onto them. That includes working crazy hours to make sure the client is happy and that they will give Cmed more studies in the future. Which is really bad, as the client gets used to getting everything they want and only end up asking for more. The salary in Romania for DM is not competitive. Nowhere near what other companies offer. The annual pay raises are very small. Entry level position salaries have not encreased in several years. Chaotic is the best word to describe it, due to poor management from the CEO level down, due to the lack of experience in the industry and due to unwillingness to join other big CROs in the 21st Century. The company sticks to what they know and if they make any progress, it is usually one step forwards and two steps backwards.

Cmed pays competitively and reviews salaries every year as part of our performance appraisal process. Raises are based on performance and are generous for high performing employees. We have recently applied Cmed’s extensive industry experience to the design and development of our game changing clinical data suite, encapsia®, which is now being used within Cmed and by our clients to transform the speed of delivery of clinical trials. The accompanying business transformation, involving a complete overhaul of processes to ensure operational efficiency and allow us to pass cost and time savings onto our customers, may be considered chaotic only if not properly understood.

      The office is based in a nice building.

      Cons

      The company decayed in the last years; poor management team and decisions; filing law suits against former employees. Better to stay away from complications and shady contracts.
