      Growth mindset in a very collaborative environment

      Pros

      What’s been most rewarding about working at CoVet is how quickly you’re able to make an impact. I came in without any veterinary industry experience, but the team is very supportive and open, which made it easy to ramp up quickly on both the clinical side and the business challenges that vets face. You’re trusted to take initiative and the work truly feels directly connected to improving outcomes for clinics. Finally, the team is incredible! Everyone is so friendly, kind, and smart, and all bring a willingness to contribute meaningfully to the organization.

      Cons

      A few minor tradeoffs come with a startup environment. Things can move quickly and sometimes feel a bit ambiguous. Processes aren’t always fully built out yet. However, if you’re someone who enjoys a bit of scrappiness and a chance to shape how things are done, these “cons” can also be part of what makes it exciting!

      Startup Energy with Real Team Support

      Pros

      One of the best things about this company is how connected everyone feels, even though we are fully remote. There is a real effort to keep people aligned and included, and communication across teams is easy and open. You never feel out of the loop. The culture is a huge plus. The team is fun, motivated, and genuinely like-minded. Leadership is approachable and engaged, and there is no real hierarchy. Everyone is willing to roll up their sleeves and help out. Another big strength is how open the team is to ideas. No idea is considered stupid. People are open to feedback and experimentation, and trial and error is part of how we grow. It is a supportive environment where your voice actually matters.

      Cons

      It is very much a startup environment, everyone wears multiple hats and jumps in wherever needed. Priorities can shift quickly, and some days you are pulled in a lot of different directions. It keeps things exciting, but it does require a lot of flexibility. Health benefits are fairly basic right now and would be great to see expanded as the company grows.
