Pros

Good customers who always came back. Decent food. Used to be good training. Room for growth if you last.

Cons

FMP shut some stores down without notice, causing good people to lose their jobs. Bad hours, always fluctuating, one week you have 25, the next week it's 13! Managers are clueless at times and unhelpful. Prefer to sit in the office than be out front to help. Seemingly hire anyone, which is not necessarily a good thing. Training used to be extensive, now new hires are barely trained for two weeks. Managers pick their favorites and let it blatantly be known. Area managers did nothing about the favoritism. Servers can be greedy and choose to seat themselves rather than alternate, so hope you can make money. Schedules often change, and you think you work at one time, come in and then it's changed without your notice and hope you aren't too late. Often schedule to many servers, for such a slow business, imo, staff correctly. There is a thing as overstaffing, using up labor when it is not needed. Coworkers are often lazy. Believe since they've been there for forever that they are above anyone new. Often tend to be the slowest with the most complaints. Instead of terminating them, management keeps them around and "deals" with them. They often try to tell others and the manager on duty what to do, how to run the shift, or when they want to go home. Management does nothing to correct those issues. All around bad business to work with and for. Stay away. I wasted a few years and countless hours for nothing, only gain was enough experience to get a much better job. So glad to have left.

Pros

There are no benefits to working with this company, it's all about them and how they can make money. Total lack of leadership

Cons

Treat their employees badly, work them hard with very little compensation. Company was purchased in April by Food Management Partners and there first item of business was to fire several hundred people.

Pros

They won't fire you, because only desperate people work here.

Cons

was Japanese owned and never had enough staff, seriously 2 people for cashier, waitstaff, cooking, dishes, everything. Now: private equity ownership, no idea how to run a restaurant just investors. Coco's will soon be out of business completely after 70yrs.
