If you're just starting out, this is a bad place to do so

Pros

Some of the staff are friendly, some clients are nice.

Cons

Don't be fooled by its friendly exterior. Senior staff complain about junior staff relentlessly. Expect to hear lots of "back in my day" stories designed to make you feel inadequate. They may hold one hour meetings with you to 'teach you' but are really bragging sessions that leave you confused. Bullying is common in this workplace, they will throw you under the bus in front of clients, your own team members and other senior staff. Senior staff clique hard and they will gang up on you, you will not be able to defend yourself. Even if its your word against a very new member of senior staff. Junior staff are grossly underpaid and overworked.

Pros

Smart and creative peers, good work-life balance (not typical of agency), great place with a slower pace to learn PR agency basics before moving on to a more innovative and challenging work environment.

Cons

-A toxic senior manager who constantly drives talented, dedicated employees away without repercussions - IN NEED OF HR OVERSIGHT -Some stale, lazy people in senior roles; new ideas tend to come from more junior/new staff but are often overlooked by senior staff who 'know better' -"This is the way we've always done it" mentality -Minimal opportunities to work with global teams/other offices -More focused on winning new biz than fixing employee engagement/culture issues, this results in mass exodus
