Pros
Open door workplace where you have the opportunity to speak directly to executive management. State of the art manufacturing facilities with a good reputation across industry.
Cons
They set the standard for the fastener industry, but lower the bar when it comes to internal culture and overall office morale. The company is a time capsule that has no resemblance of a modern workplace. Pay, vacation, maternity/paternity leave, training, sick days, work from home options, are all things that are below average or non-existent. Turnover has been rampant for office and production employees for several years; with many vacant positions sitting open and current employees taking on the burden of their responsibilities for extended periods of time. Mediocrity reigns supreme, which means that there are employees that have been there 5-10+ years that truly do a poor job, but instead of trying to find ways to improve their daily routine, the response is “well, this is how this person operates” which means you have to do more work to ensure they do their job properly.
