Pros

This real estate agency holds a large market share of listings in the Puget Sound real estate market. It focuses on the high end market in the tech-rich neighborhoods around Seattle and Portland. Overall, it's a well run company and the upper management does listen to its troops. The money spent on developing it's brand shows in the marketplace. CBB embraces technology and offers it's agents a great platform to run their business on with a well developed website, mobile site, and back office tools. The managing brokers are usually available when needed.

Cons

It's a big ship with 30+ offices along I-5 from Portland, Oregon to the northern reaches of Washington State. The Cool Aid sometimes tasted a little too bland for someone who prefers a smaller, more intimate office environment to work in. At the end of the day, you go home feeling like you're work for the man...

Pros

Honestly can’t think of any

Cons

They do not value people. Which is odd for being a business that runs off of referrals and maintaining relationships. I worked for Coldwell for 2 years in the back office. I witnessed over 30 employees get fired or quit within the first year. I Had 4 different managers, and saw countless other departments have massive turnover as well. I was told I could not park on site because I was a man, and women need it more. I needed to buy my own work from home computer to keep my job during Covid quarantine. Also HR will NOT help in any way. It is your responsibility to remind HR of any special needs. They have lost/misplaced important personal information twice. Specific HR employees will talk to others about personal information. I have personally seen HR gossip about other employees and what private matters they are going through. I would not recommend this employer to my worst enemy.

Once a well-run company, now a total disaster.

Pros

The real estate agents are hard working people and are not a reflection of the corporate office.

Cons

Executive leadership has gone off the deep end. The culture has been overrun by new "leadership" that has been given too much trust and power by the owner. The lack of discernment about what's happening is frightening. The owner is panicking because of Compass and is now trusting the wrong people. It's not a good place to work anymore.
