Joining here is making me question my life choices
Pros
The company is still working from home. Largely follows it. The work is mostly only for 4-5 hours. Rest of the time you just show you are online. They have sprint plans and have no idea how to check if people are actually working. So you keep saying you are stuck and resolving something and working on bugs and what not. Nobody actually knows what is happening or has the understanding to check.
Cons
CEO is a gas lighter. If he starts talking it is time to run. He has lost all of the senior team members that made the company tick. There are only a few clueless people left. Sales is stagnant. Despite being a low cost offering in the market, partners now reject based on the feedback from other partners. Marketing event Dig100 accelerated this trend because everybody got to talk to current partners. Hikes and bonuses are promised and never given. It is an open lie. The CEO is an expert at breaking promises.
