      Pros

      Free lunch every day. Extremely motivated and intellectually stimulating students. Many coworkers with a bright attitude. Many coworkers who love their job.

      Cons

      In my position, I had too much on my plate and not enough time to accomplish everything. A small handful of very close minded and frankly mean teachers I had to work closely with.

      Pros

      Great supportive community (colleagues, students, parents). Students are well behaved and mostly focused in the classroom. Good professional development opportunities. Benefits seem fair. Small classes (<20), and generally only 4 periods.

      Cons

      Required to coach. Makes for a 10 hour day before getting home to lesson plan and grade. I felt that my pay of $53,000 was inadequate, especially considering that I had to coach 2 seasons.
