Great place to work if you are a white male with no kids

Pros

Excellent internal processes, clear career path opportunities and some genuinely lovely people. Great internal administrative support for sales teams. Lots of online training opportunities through internal programs.

Cons

Huge boys club culture. If you are not a white male who went to an elite private school then don't waste your time applying. They might hire you but you won't last long. And forget it if you are a woman who wants to do something other than be a team assistant or heaven forbid, have commitments outside of work. Like a family, for example. Very sexist culture and zero work life balance. They also have a huge performance manage 'out' rather than 'in' culture. I saw them march people out the door for resigning after 20 years of dedicated service simply because they were going to work for a competitor. No people loyalty whatsoever.

Pros

Free mental torture training. Experience how to live with suffering at work.

Cons

Everything about this place. After thinking for another 10mins, yes this place is the horrible place to work in the history of mankind.

Colliers Response

I am sorry to hear that your 3 years working with us did not meet your expectations. We have been awarded Aon Best Employer status in both 2017 and 2018, and have recorded increases in our engagement scores in each of the last 3 years, so we take our culture very seriously. Of course, in a large firm sometimes an individual can have a different experience to the majority of our employees, and it is regrettable when this occurs. Please accept our best wishes for your future.

Pros

great marketing orientated company with high profile that can get you access into most tier 1 companies without too much diffculty.

Cons

pyramid stacked commision system only works after minimum 3 to 5 years and highly dependant upon which market and sector you work within. The 3 times pay-back system before tax chews a huge amount of your gross earning capacity.
