      Pros

      Work hours Immediate supervisor was great at understanding work/life balance

      Cons

      No annual review, small pay raise just shows up no discussion with management. They talk about transparency but you can come in one day and you are laid off. No notice, benefits lapse within days of layoff. Mortgage division has been shrinking since the start of 2022.

      Pros

      Profit sharing, 401k, laid back atmosphere, bonus structure in some departments, family vibes among employees. Over all good comfortable environment as far as this industry goes. Not an overly micro managing culture like found in some corporate environments. Privately owned company.

      Cons

      401k and profit sharing doesn't vest until year 6. Extremely expensive medical insurance, low base pay, old technology, understaffed departments, fast management turn around. Not a lot of room for advancement.
