Company Going Downhill

Pros

Good Salary and decent benefits.

Cons

The new CEO seems to have no clue on how to run a multi-billion dollar company. The top executives do not care about employees morale or satisfaction. They run an employee satisfaction survey then lay off people and right after that implement a return to office mandate and then pretend that employees are happy with the company's policies based on the survey. There is absolutely to clear goal in mind and it seems like the company is being set up to be taken over. Bringing up concerns to upper management is futile as their only response is deal with it.

Pros

Healthcare is decent, 401k investment options good.

Cons

Return to office after we killed it thru COVID and proved we could do it. Employee survey was a joke, they all act like employees love all the changes and I didn't know a single person who did. Talented people are jumping ship and those remaining are so confused. Mid managers don't even know the current direction the bank is going in. Treading water with no insight into the future is no way to work. Wait and see with no plan. Oh and the layoffs since many departments aren't busy at all.

Pros

-Many talented coworkers -Challenging work -Free mug/snacks for first week being mandated back into office (sarcasm)

Cons

-Talented coworkers leaving the bank due to recent changes causing strain on those who remain. -Too much work, not enough people to do it. -Mandating return to office, very specific rules (must work at least 3 day/8hrs in office, monitoring of badge swipes, unless 30 miles away, no consideration for long commutes in metro areas, an employee on the same team with same job 29 miles away must go in but other 30 miles away can be remote) -Removed annual bonus in exchange for a base pay increase at a smaller percent. -Difficult to advance, lack of support from upper management -General low morale and a sense that employees are just a number. -Forcing a "culture" and packaging things as flexible and beneficial to employees that clearly are not.
