Pros

There are no Pro's to joining this company

Cons

Combustion Associates is a Fraud organization. Employees are cheated and lied to all the time. Projects are not planned or budgeted well. Vendors are harassed to provide ' Better Pricing'. Making money via ANY means is the motto of this company. Please stay away from this employer. The interview process is very tedious and time consuming. I was tested on things that had absolutely no relevance to my job. Working for this company was a nightmare.

Review from a disgruntled employee – Yes, we are in business to make money. Obviously, we try to get better pricing from suppliers! A company’s financial success is derived from a combination of revenue generation and cost-control. Our numerous business awards are a testimony to our success at managing both.

Pros

If you are a task oriented person, if you have the ability to let go quickly, and if you are okay with not moving up ladder or being compensated for your hard work, this is the place for you.

Cons

*Extremely stressful work environment. *No opportunity for growth. *Management is overly critical and controlling. *High expectations, no rewards. *Low compensation. I started with the company and was promised a number of things. The first few months, I kept hearing about the culture and dynamic of the company and was advised to find something else; I did not listen. I was motivated to do my best and not take advise from anyone. A few months went by and I was very excited for my 90 day evaluation. My evaluation took place almost 6 months after the date I was hired, and consisted of excuses as to why I should not be rewarded. The company does not have the loyalty of its employees because of how poorly everyone gets treated. It was a learning experience and I mistake I will never make again. Please do your research before joining this company.

Pros

This is a good place if you are looking for job for too long. Work here only if its close to your house and you dont have a car!

Cons

The employers are very devious and make plenty of fake promises during the hiring process. They are known for providing 'incorrect' information during hiring and politically changing their commitments towards their employees once hired. No scope of raise, promotion or learning. I had worked with this company for almost 1.5 years and somehow never got used to it. I have been on multiple occasions been humiliated and put down. Average day involved fighting a battle and defending ourselves from the employer's aggression. The employers will set you up for failures and then beat you down later. This is a very stressful environment and is not a recommended work place for people who want to have a life outside work. The employers micromanage and they demand you to write a detailed daily report of all/any activity of the day. This micromanaging adds on to the pressure in the already stressed work environment. The employers are also impossible to please, and no matter what you do it will only fire back. I doubt if all the positive reviews written below are actually written by any of the employees. I therefore decided to write my own review to avoid any other people to fall prey to this company.

From a disgruntled employee with 50% attendance record - People who are happy at work don’t feel as compelled to write things as unhappy people. Unhappy people often feel a need to vent and purge, and so it is with this review. Anyone who has worked for an internationally-focused company knows of “growing pains” and challenges. Project Timelines are tight, customers are demanding, with many interrelated dependencies. If one piece comes up short all subsequent pieces must bear the brunt of a delay. We build amazing, cool, extraordinary products. Sophisticated, complicated products require a lot of attention to detail. Errors could cost lives! Not everyone is cut out for this kind of work. For some it’s exciting, for others frustrating. We make it clear to applicants during our interview process that this is a fast-paced, professional work environment. What should an employer do when an employee reports to work only 50% of the time and project timelines are at stake? …often not calling in to notify of being late, or not coming in at all? Should this kind of behavior recommend micro-managing and activity reports? If not that, then what? We are a Presidential Award Winning Firm; a distinction earned only through strong success. We have many happy employees here, some for 10+ yrs. We have many successful projects and many return customers. We will continue to do our best to address short-comings and foster an environment that yields a rewarding professional life as well as personal life for the betterment of our Firm and our valued awesome Team.
