Pros

Excellent Benefits: The company offers robust employee benefits. Achievement in Sales: Despite numerous challenges, I consistently met and exceeded sales quotas each year. Resilience and Insight: The role provided a deep dive into the complexities of corporate environments, enhancing my resilience and understanding.

Cons

Highly Stressful Environment: The job involved intense stress due to demanding sales quotas and a limited commission structure. Inefficient Internal Systems: Navigating the company's backend and internal systems was a constant challenge and customer impacting. Biased Lead Distribution: Leads often favored certain long-standing employees with management connections, leading to a demoralizing work culture. Misleading Sales Practices: Was encouraged to provide unrealistic service installation timelines, impacting credibility and client trust. Detached Upper Management: Interaction with higher management, including the VP, felt superficial, highlighting a disconnect from the actual challenges faced by the sales team. Pressured to Alter Feedback: There was a culture of manipulating internal feedback scores to artificially enhance management's image. Operational Inefficiencies: Aligning various departments for service installation was cumbersome, often leading to extended and unpredictable project timelines. Impact on Mental Health: The cumulative effect of these challenges led to a negative impact on my mental health, prompting my decision to leave.

Pros

Decent medical/dental benefits (still pay $530 month for family of 4)

Cons

Culture is terrible. Hardly anyone YTD is at plan. Commission payout is terrible for a EAE. Your monthly target is $4200. $4200 x 12 x 36 months (average term length) a little over 1.8 million. Your piece of the pie with your base and at risk is less than. 1% of that. Get the f outta here!! Role sold as EAE however you are mid-market. High turnover in the role. Rather than develop, they threaten your job. Don’t get me started on their outdated systems, incorrect construction costs that lead to cancelled orders and chargebacks. ZERO fun or appreciation.

Pros

Benefits are great, 401k Insurance and everything else that comes with it.

Cons

The top-down approach has created a stressful and fear-based culture. Directors and VPs are pressured to meet unrealistic targets, which in turn leads to excessive pressure on employees. It's disheartening to see dedicated leadership undervalued and replaced simply for not meeting aggressive goals. Additionally, the HR department seems more focused on silencing concerns than addressing them. This creates a hostile work environment where employees feel unsupported and afraid to speak up. HR Team has two standards, one for 1 set of people and another for another set of people.
