Pros

Interesting work; generally friendly colleagues; nice HQ in IFSC.

Cons

Lots of internal politics; the different divisions are like different companies; the Commissioners who nominally run the place have no power. Zero chance of moving internally. Zero chance of secondments. Lots of behind the scenes bullying. Salaries are now substantially behind the private sector.

Pros

Very friendly people. HR try very hard to promote learning and foster a pleasant culture. Good salary and leave.

Cons

Bad management, no real scope for promotion or any kind of growth in roles. Jobs advertised already pegged for internal contract staff. Really tedious work with no autonomy.

Pros

Generally a secure job if permanent

Cons

Not a good culture at present; no scope for promotion; jobs advertised often already have a name on them.
