Severe Safety Concerns: As a Lead Teacher, I repeatedly reported physical safety hazards and student-to-teacher assaults, which were consistently ignored by administration. Hostile & Retaliatory Culture: Management fostered a toxic environment, actively undermining proper behavior interventions. After reporting safety violations and refusing to use unauthorized physical force on students, I faced targeted harassment, ostracization, and unfair disciplinary actions. Lack of HR Integrity: HR and administration weaponized policies, ignored communication, and denied protected medical leave (FMLA) requests. Discriminatory Practices: The organization ultimately terminated my employment under false pretexts, which included explicit, discriminatory remarks from HR regarding my child's disability. Advice to Management: Prioritize student and staff safety, strictly adhere to employment laws, and provide management training on discrimination, FMLA, and retaliation.
