Pros

Large non-profit, good benefits for your family

Cons

Upper management had no training and not able to get it together enough to elevate their thinking or find common ground with staff. Employees have unionized and prove that management does nothing to protect staff or actually manage people because they are not relatable or approachable.

Pros

free donuts and food but not much else

Cons

The place gets millions in donations but I don't really understand where it went except to the owner. There is just no support and no motivation to hire staff. Many people applied to volunteer and I was told not to respond to them, then we complain that we don't have volunteers. Also I never felt like I was included because of my ethnicity. The pay is embarassingly low for the amount of work they expect, and again, it is just not a safe environment for women.
