Cons
*Admin not always very supportive when it comes to backing up teachers who are trying to hold students accountable *Special Education classes are not considered a separate prep from gen ed classes *Current social work department is unreliable *no form of reimbursement for personal $ teachers spend *left on your own most of the time to come up with a curriculum *low parent involvement *staff gatherings are now well attended *most all IEP's /meetings are 1st semester in particular Nov & Dec. Making it stressful for *People can get away with not doing their job *Admin & Staff don't have a good rapport * principal does not have very good social skills, avoids conflict, and communicates with staff minimally. *Admin as a whole could increase their communication with staff *No Saturday school or after/before school detention option *coaches do not get paid well *club sponsors get paid even less * salaries are on the lower end * after school events are not well attended by both staff and students * many new teachers with experience do not get extra money for their years. * no special education secretary * the special education department rarely ever gets to meet as a whole * very little to do in the Hampshire community
