      Growing company with growing pains

      Pros

      Fellow employees. Flat organization - Interesting government and aviation field. Stable employment once hired. Slightly better than average medical /dental Fair to poor profit sharing plan - At least they have one. Decent life insurance plan.

      Cons

      Pay is much lower that industry average. No investment in employee training once hired. Don't expect a pay raise. Long hours and weekends - no comp time Very poor 401 K - no matching funds

      Do not work there as an operations administrator

      Pros

      Growing company. Pilots and Maintenance crews were awesome! You get to do a job where you feel like you are contributing to protection of your country

      Cons

      (This only applies to my experience as an Operations administrator) Very high turnover rate No checks and balances put in place for management Management hiring personal friends/family who are unqualified Abuse of authority, mistreatment of employees HR is really hands off and uninvolved Upper management very hands off as well

      The people and the work the company performs were the best parts of Commuter Air Technology.

      Cons

      Downsides would be the long hours, needing to work on the weekends or evenings, hard to maintain a good work life balance.
