Pros

Friendships made outside of work; opportunities to try something new (shame it comes at the cost of 'getting rid' of staff/company if it fails). 20+ companies under Group. Some positions paid highly.

Cons

Under New Management - not family ran at all - owners retired/emigrated. Lost the ethos to care - only interested in making more money. Good reviews only written by 'new' staff due to false warm welcome - then the cracks slowly start to appear. Support Workers paid poorly, however, work so hard. Staff ridiculed behind closed doors, anyone speaking out/whistleblowing are berated so either emulate the same negative narcissistic behaviours or are obsequious. Directors manipulate and lie, staff continuously bullied out, HR turn a blind eye. CFO obfuscates and takes advantage of naive staff. MD bad mouths everyone to anyone who will listen to him drone on. Exceptional high staff turnover, no-one stays, staff with values and morals leave. Not well-led, bad practices covered over, no accountability, staff verbally abused, huge blame culture, extremely toxic - AVOID!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your time with us and views on our company. Reviews are written by staff who want to provide feedback on what’s working well and not so well. Regular prompts are sent to all our existing staff and new staff are made aware that they can leave feedback after completion of their training. Leaving a review is their decision and we have no control over the feedback they provide. We regularly review our pay rates against competition in each of our areas to ensure we pay a fair rate. We weren't made aware of your further concerns against our employees, consequently we were unable to investigate and resolve these issues. Please get in touch with us on 0161 929 6039 so we can investigate the information you provided. Thank you.

Pros

Some frontline staff go above and beyond despite being under constant pressure and overlooked.

Cons

The online image and internal reality don’t match. There’s a pattern of polished reviews from leadership roles while on-the-ground feedback is ignored. Communication feels filtered, and decisions are made to protect reputation—not people.

Pros

As a recruiter, it’s always lovely to meet some new faces and help people get into their careers. However, this can only be felt if you’re at the right company where you’re looked after.

Cons

The company is obsessed with growth and always run before they can walk, running for joint ventures and anything to make more money. They’ve lost the vision to care for staff, which is worrying considering they’re a care company. 30 plus OFFICE staff have left within the last year and when queried to the MD, Tony, the response to this was “ these people were not key-players”. Unfortunately, management has changed and the company no longer care for you as a person, you’re just an employee. Prepare to constantly walk on eggshells, as so many people have been walked out the premises to then be sugarcoated as “mutual decision”. It’s really sad as being a care company, the management cannot seem to look after their own internal staff. Progression is not a thing in this company, no matter how much they promise you. Guilt tripping and scapegoating is a massive personality of this company. You will be welcomed like heaven on your first day, they’ll go over the top to show you you’ve made a great choice, but be sure to ask how many people have left and are serving their notice period, there’s always one EVERY month. Staff are bullied and HR does not have the courage to stand for you or any grievance you raise. They will refer to you as “coloured”, and if HR can’t see the blatant racism within this term, then they’re in the wrong position. Furthermore, if you are an ethnic minority, they won’t bat an eyelid on anything you say.
