Pros

Fully remote, some co-workers can be fun to work with.

Cons

Where to begin? Since the company's acquisition of three other companies, it has been a steady downhill trend. Senior leaders and C-level employees have large egos that you must stroke if you want to survive. Other reviews on here have left me disturbed and although I cannot personally vouch for all of them, they fit the vibe and experiences I encountered. Anyone with transferable skills is looking for an exit as quickly as possible. The benefits are horrible and are being systematically removed to "save costs". If you try and voice an opinion contrary to leadership, you will be labeled with a "negative attitude" and put on a list to be disappeared. There are many issues with leadership and the message they put out. The most egregious action being the removal of the 401k match and communication by the CEO that if you don't like it, quit. They create unattainable financial goals for the year, then when sales is unable to reach unattainable goals everyone except leadership is punished. Comply keeps adding C-level employees while simultaneously laying off normal employees. They will disappear people if they determine you "are not necessary anymore". There is no product ownership, while simultaneously producing products that compete directly with already existing Comply offerings. Clients will be unhappy with one product and cancel, sign up for a different service, only to discover that the new service utilizes the product they just canceled. If coworkers are upset with you, they will just ghost you and not respond to your messages. There is constant communication about professionalism when emotion is driving a lot of decisions. This results in an employee populace that is scared, and Mariana Trench level morale, constantly waiting for the next shoe to drop.

Pros

Remote work and unlimited PTO

Cons

Lack of direction and leadership from the top down. Micromanagement culture has taken over and led to a huge loss of employee morale and has employees looking for opportunities outside of the company. “New ideas are welcomed” but never used…merit increases are small and the 401k match is no longer available.

Pros

Work from home Performance-based bonus Really lovely team Good career opportunities for her right colleague (if you fit their criteria)

Cons

Inadequate training - From when I started, the two employees that were supposed to train me left within the first two weeks (which is fine), however, I was left abandoned and was constantly playing catch up with the team. How do you expect Employees to start taking calls on a platform where it was only shown to us once on a zoom call for 30 minutes (if that?) And another I wasn't shown at all. The expectation is to take x amount of cases a day but how can I assign cases to myself that I have no familiarity with? Lack of discernment and lack of support meant it was very difficult to manage my workload. I should also mention that the initial training was REDUCED to get new Employees on the phones as soon as possible. There simply is not enough time in the day to manage your workload with little support, and then when you make a mistake or are 'behind' they berate you for it. Ridiculous KPI's - There was an expectation to close at least 60% of your cases with attachments from the knowledge base, however, if the answer had been demonstrated without the need to attach anything, or by providing screenshots, this wouldn't be reflected in the attached cases (even if the customer feedback was 100%). Lack of Support from Management - If you had a question that needed answering, these could be flagged on the daily zoom calls. However, often questions are met with a long pause, and at times, you would just have to "figure it out", by testing or by asking other colleagues. A pass the buck culture indeed. It was especially difficult for UK colleagues, who has little to no support but are expected to achieve the same targets as their US colleagues.
