- There are historical disparities in term of (engineering) labor costs between various execution centers worldwide spread. Instead of considering the many variations in term of the standard of living across the respective regions, management would squeeze and even cut loose people who are structurally unable to compete with the low cost labor execution centers. Bottom line, if you are not on the low labor cost / long evenings quadrant, you are a blinking spot on the radar screen of high management. Why have they hired you at first place? go wonder. - Surprisingly, the stock value of the parent company is steadily growing at a quite descent rate; however throughout the recent years, management (including the CEO and a poorly staffed HR group in the US headquarter) have cut several jobs in the most careless, rude and mercyless manner. Stay away if possible.
