I expressed concerns the entire week before I started to them that the role they put me in was too junior and it was. I am an IT person not a hand holder for customers. Source your roles accordingly and regularly question if a candidate would be suitable for the role they interviewed for or if they can be placed in other roles that you have open. You missed this opportunity to retain me as an employee that was placed in the wrong role to begin with. I say this because the recruiter was only concerned about the commission and this situation proved that. They hired a candidate overqualified for the role and when questioned about it they just gaslighted a candidate which is not professional.
