Pros

Salary and benefits are market appropriate. There is a fair amount of PTO.

Cons

Truly one of the most harrowing, negative employment experiences I have ever had in a workplace. Bad culture under a thin layer of fake smiles. Truly an icon of CORPORATE MEDICINE. Bullying, punitive management behaviors for providers they didn't like and a corporate culture that kept all employees too afraid to speak up as a result.

Pros

Has a great view of what should be happening in medicine, with moments that matter, aging in place, keeping patients out of the hospital.

Cons

This is a company with unrealistic goals. They expect tasks to be completed including extensive documentation without the time to do so, not enough driving time to see the patients. There is so much education that Im not even doing medicine anymore. Poor management, that trickles down to poor schedules and poor patient and employee satisfaction.

Pros

The overall Value Based Care model is exciting and aligned with my person values and views on how chronic health care should be provided for seniors and those with disabilities

Cons

Incredibly heavy c-suite and not enough front-line management. Derision and division between clinical, population health, and business departments. Purposeful siloing of departments/roles. Unreliable tech that is not vetted before being released for use and no leeway for staff to navigate while trying to remain productive. In the end, change management is up to the front line and the few people managing them instead of starting at the top
