Pros

- Lots of autonomy - Nice coworkers

Cons

-God-awful benefits. Health insurance cost for people with families are so high that you simply can't work here. -Not a lot of paid holidays, skimpy vacation and sick policies. When branded as a tech company, you need to be competitive in the market. -Non-technical managers that simply have no business managing technical people and technical projects. -Completely tone-deaf CEO that believes that telling people they are doing a good job and offering them a "challenge coin" for going above and beyond will motivate them while simultaneously paying terrible wages and sub-standard benefits as the company is in the black for millions and millions of dollars. -Open offices where people are packed in to tight spaces with little amenity. -Mass layoffs, jobs relocated overseas, and no opportunity for advancement.

Dishonest and Disingenuous

Pros

None, from the moment they acquired my company, the culture went down hill.

Cons

Mass layoffs without warning. Congruex leadership appears to have bitten off more than they can chew with telecommunications engineering. They throw bodies at problems (often times the wrong ones or unqualified ones) and then act confused as to why things are awry. In two years I had 7 different bosses. The lack of consistent leadership adds to the confusion at the lower levels.
