Pros

- Social - Beautiful building and well located - Great cooperation in the back office with a team mentality - In-house training opportunities - Good work/ life balance. You're not expected to stay back late

Cons

- Low salaries (standard for the industry) - High employee turnover - Little career and salary progression - No exciting perks - Sometimes dated systems and processes/procedures - Poor strategic direction - Claustrophobic back office working conditions - Frustrating senior management who lack motivational qualities

Pros

- working in the beautiful setting of a 5 star hotel - some colleagues are nice - some projects are interesting - meeting clients for all walks of life, VIPs or not

Cons

- low pay for such an organization located in the center of Amsterdam - a lot of toxic colleagues - workplace is toxic - no incentives to keep employees, high turnover - terrible upper management team lead by the Managing Director Roy Tomassen. He is such a hypocrite in so many ways. In front of VIPs he is a very different person than with regular employees. Also don't trust the nice pictures of the Instagram page of the company. He only tolerate diversity (ie 'minorities') for cleaning positions and kitchen helpers, to perpetrate the clichés. All staff in upper management and more qualified roles are Caucasian. HR is their puppet and has received orders to not shortlist people with certain 'skin colors' for these jobs. Disgusting. I am glad I left.
