Pros
Good compensation and benefits. Stocked Kitchen, free lunch on Fridays, and gym on site.
Cons
No work life balance at all. Expected hours are 7AM-6PM. If you arrive later than these hours or leave earlier, you feel like you are doing something wrong. Expect to work on way too many projects at one time and expect to work through vacations/holidays (if you're able to take them). No systems set up for support staff. If you tell superiors that you are drowning, they expect you to work longer hours to solve the problem even if you tell them the quality of work is slipping. The bottom line is all they care about. President of the company is incredibly conceited and has an abrasive personality. Expect consistent misogyny and inappropriate jokes from most of upper management. Lot's of locker room talk and a "boys club" mentality despite promoting female staff to make it look like they care about women. Last but not least, expect your ethics to be challenged frequently. I found myself speaking out often about issues that I deemed unethical whether it was how work was being handled or a lack of transparency within proposals to clients. There was a lot of smoke and mirrors in proposals that lead to clients being charged more than the work would have actually cost, but this was well hidden.
