Pros

I cannot think of one single pro for this job except the day I left!

Cons

This job has a very negative work environment, poor management and was an overall horrible experience. You don't motivate employees by screaming at them for two hours in a Monday morning meeting or just screaming because you are in a bad mood that day. I assume these good reviews are placed by the management because they have enough time to do this along with sending out motivational videos rather than ask the employees what they can do to help out. If you want to yell at people all day you should join the military and leaving managing an office to someone that is qualified. My advice is stay as far as way from this place as possible!

After being in business for 30 years no company can make every employee happy. You win some and you lose some. I'm sorry your experience with us wasn't a great one. I wish you well. #ConsultisExcellence

Pros

Compensation is in line with their competitors. They do offer a company paid trip if you hit annual sales goals

Cons

The most recent review seem to run counter to the other reviews and the perception from the 15+ former employees that I know. For an objective view, check out linkedin and see the high number of people who have bailed on this company, and specifically this branch, over the last couple of years. No company should have that rate of turnover unless they are a call center or a fast food restaurant. They consistently lose some good people due to their tyrannical approach to management and because of that, they continue to provide a subpar experience to their clients/candidates.

After 30 years we have to be doing something right. Current MGMT in Orlando has been in place for 14 years and it's our highest producing office. I'm sorry #ConsultisExcellence wasn't for you. We wish you well!

Pros

Compensation is good if you are willing to put in the effort. They also have an incentive trip for hitting certain numbers, usually to a tropical location.

Cons

This is a very hostile environment. It is very much sales against recruiting. There's a lot of hostility focused on the recruiters during the 2 hour+ Monday Morning Meeting. This company has a high turnover rate for a reason, and it’s not the industry. The hours you are expected to work, although not written, are crazy. I was personally asked, on numerous occasions, to stay well after 530 PM to set the example for new employees, while management would leave much earlier. There is no work/life balance and you are made to feel guilty when asking for time off, even for medical reasons. When starting out, you are expected to put in hours over the weekend, but I can think of one occasion in particular when I asked management to help me with a candidate over the weekend because he didn't like how I was handling the situation – he was too busy but sent me an email. There is no flexibility, even when you are a top producer. I had to give up vacation days while I worked from home due to a medical issue, even though I was tied to my computer and phone all day long. Since it has been commented repeatedly that Consultis must be doing something right since they've been in business for 30 years, I felt I must bring to light the inappropriate, extremely hostile environment. Between the abusive language and inappropriate behaviors and comments made to females, this company has severe issues that will never be addressed or fixed because people choose turn a blind eye.
