Pros

Decent pay from commissions. Convenient location. Friendly peers.

Cons

I was fired on a weekend shift on my birthday with no prior warning. After a full year of employment, I had literally ZERO WARNING that my job was in danger. They claimed it was performance based even though the day I was let go was the last day of a bonus cycle in which I was on track to bonus at the highest tier and percentage. The sales floor, management included, were always treated as expendable and there was a massive disconnect between the sales floor, marketing and customer service teams.

Easy Sales Job

Pros

Its an inbound call center, so the sales are definitely there. No cold calling or daily grinding required. Yes, you do have the be a good salesman to make it, but isn't that every sales job? The management team works hard to turn non-sales motivated people around, but at the end of the day its all about your own motivation to make money. The team here is fun to work with, and very supportive. They also do cash incentives all the time which helps motivate more.

Cons

Its a growing company so there is a bit of change, and a lack of strong, solid structure. There isn't a defined career path, but the opportunity is there as long as the company continues to grow.

Pros

None, even the break rooms are broken down and gross.

Cons

You do not matter. Training is non-existent. You can be the number one sales person and they still don't want to hear your advice. Try asking for a suggestion box and they'll tell you that it's not a good idea because employees who speak up forget their place. Also, they never give you commission reports so you have NO IDEA if you're getting paid for what you sold. Heads up, you're not. If you miss three hours in one week or if you happen to have a day where you took too many calls without selling, they'll cut out your bonus for your entire paycheck, which is like 45% of your salary.
