Pros

Contec Management has supported us throughout this trying time with COVID. Our wellbeing and safety has always come first. OUR MANAGEMENT TEAM HAD EVEN TAKEN A CUT IN SALARY TO INSURE WE WERE ABLE TO KEEP OUR JOBS. They always put us first always. Although business is sluggish due to supply chain issues, we do our best to take care of our people and our Customers. I enjoy working here and appreciate all that my management does for us.

Cons

I have a hard time coming up with "Cons" regarding my Company and management.

An out-of-cycle pay raise was given to employees in November 2021 following a market analysis and financial review. As with most employers in the US and elsewhere, Contec is still being affected by the economic downturn related to the shuttering of business, customers, and suppliers we rely on as well as the Great Resignation or Great Reshuffling. Unlike other manufacturers and other companies, management made the decision to preserve the jobs of workers during the pandemic and instead instituted other cost saving measures to ensure our employees and their families had stability, work and benefits during the economic downturn instead of being laid off. Management decisions are discussed and debated at length and made for the good of all, not the individual. All employees are encouraged to raise issues to be addressed, provide suggestions for efficiencies in processes/procedures, and opportunities for improvements but not everything can be implemented due to competitiveness of company resources and things are prioritized and revised at later times if deemed important and for the good of all.
