Pros

Only product they have is contentstack a CMS product.

Cons

1. Layoff have been started. 2. If upper management is listing please look into this you have layoffd many good people who were loyal and hard working. But see your older employees they are playing politics specially in TOS group. 3. Lot of groupe sum. 4. Many people left due to this. 5. At last check what you managers behave and talk with their team mates all are rude.

Pros

• Learning and Development Program – Access to LinkedIn learning portal. Lots of emphasis on upskilling. • Great coworkers to work with. • Good product and the roadmap. • Hybrid work environment. • Time off for CSR initiatives – Contentstack Cares. • Good amount of leaves.

Cons

• The high rating on Glassdoor and Comparably doesn’t justify the reality on ground. • The layoffs at Contentstack were not handled in a professional and empathetic way. Lots of employees were called for a 5-minute Zoom call and were conveyed the news, post which their access to systems were cutoff abruptly. I heard this was very painful for the impacted employees. So much in the name of an employee-friendly organization and no empathy. • Tech stack could be better keeping in mind employee engagement. Tools like UKG Pro are not great from an employee experience standpoint and often eat up a lot of time. Lots of scope for automation. • 90 days’ notice period is definitely a NO. • The talent acquisition team oversells the company and the job. Lots of mismatch with the expectations set during the interview process and when you join the company. Please set realistic expectations with employees. • Certain employee benefits could be better, like - currently employees need to share accommodation/rooms when they travel to work. This is not on par with what other companies provide. Last thing you want after a busy day of work is some good rest. • Hiring talent could be on logical grounds and not based on leader’s hobbies. So many employees were let go off as these initiatives often lacked vision and backing from the same leaders. • The main office in India is located in Virar, that may not appeal to everyone. • Bias in promoting talent for senior positions.
