Like being part of a family that makes the world better
Pros
I’ve been part of many companies that just rest on their laurels, and this is not Contessa. Contessa as a whole is determined to do better every day. I still remember during my first week, I saw an opportunity to make something better, and when I took it to the CISO and CEO, they both took out a pen and a pad and took notes. I’ve heard from countless colleagues over my career that “execs don’t listen” There is a level of humility in Contessa executives that I’ve never seen before. They make time to listen. Having worked in the southeast for years, I’ve found that the benefits at Contessa are incredible compared to major players in the Nashville area. Work-life balance is also very good. One would think that a startup wouldn’t have great work-life balance and even during critical moments, leaders prioritize family and life events before anything. Lastly, if you want to work in healthcare and make a difference, this is a great place to do so. The mission and values of the company actually stand to improve the quality of care without bloating costs in a bloated industry.
